Our Summer Film Camp is a creative, hands-on filmmaking experience where young people work together to create their own original short films. Working in small production groups matched by age, each group is supported by a dedicated two-person professional film crew. Together they choose a song and develop an original narrative story to go with the music. This is very much a story-driven film project; not a singing or dancing music video. The focus is on storytelling, characters, and creative filmmaking.
It’s a complete “script to screen” experience that builds confidence, teamwork and real filmmaking skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Creative young people who love films, storytelling and working with others. The camp is ideal for both beginners and those with some experience. No previous acting or filming skills are needed; just enthusiasm and a willingness to have a go.

The Big Film is an annual film project which helps young people explore their confidence, community and creativity through acting and filmmaking. We help pupils craft their own exciting films. With professional teacher training, classroom resources and ongoing technical support, we aim to enrich young people’s learning.
